Justino Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Arce had several of the NOT AFRAID's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Raimundo Gitano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cayetano Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alejo Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Osorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Tome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gaston Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Tirso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Justino Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Gitano having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, NOT AFRAID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Tome made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Tome in the 52nd minute of play forced CASLA's goalkeeper Alejo Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Benet took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Gitano. Raimundo Gitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Benet in the 62nd minute of play forced NOT AFRAID's goalkeeper Raimundo Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, CASLA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gaston Henry fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Cayetano Tome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Arce struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Raimundo Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CASLA. Cayetano Tome was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. NOT AFRAID's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 81 minutes into the match, CASLA's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Tome came free, but Alejo Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Camilo Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CASLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Benet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Cayetano Tome managed to get in a good position for a shot. NOT AFRAID's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Tome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Osorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Camilo Benet came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CASLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Benet couldn't finish the play. CASLA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of NOT AFRAID for a fine match.
