But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Urtun couldn't finish the play. If Manuel Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Teobaldo Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Manuel Garikoitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Raimundas Danauskas, passed just outside the right post. Arnulfo Edorta charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Edorta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Cale Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Edorta to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Conrado Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Cococho FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Esteve Tomi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundas Danauskas came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cococho FBC's Teodoro Urtun. But to his dismay, Teodoro Urtun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 40th minute, Jeronimo Inocente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Luis Nayely made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Silvanito. Cococho FBC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Cale Fc booed when Cococho FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Garikoitz was the one to do the kick off. Luis Nayely might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Silvanito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Nayely ran back to his position shaking his head. Teobaldo Silvanito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Nayely in the 56th minute. A hard shot 59 in the game by Luis Nayely from a close distance when the talented Teobaldo Silvanito managed to make a qualified save. Cococho FBC's players were relieved. Esteve Tomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Teobaldo Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cococho FBC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Silvanito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Esteve Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Rojelio charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Esteve Tomi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cococho FBC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Silvanito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute Esteve Tomi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cale Fc's Luis Nayely got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Nayely got free with Teobaldo Silvanito in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundas Danauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Urtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Teodoro Urtun struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Raimundas Danauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cococho FBC.
