Mario Sarracino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fake Nibiru F.N.C.'s Sixto Mateo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. German Jusepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Kusko in the 46th minute of play.

Cornelio Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mario Sarracino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Anibal Uxio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fake Nibiru F.N.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobres FC the free kick. After 99 played minutes Fake Nibiru F.N.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Uxio. When Cornelio Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Cobres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Rosio couldn't finish the play.
