Juan Mitxel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 21st minute Teodoro Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Garikoitz in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Mitxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Juan Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Martino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Teobaldo Silvanito made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Garikoitz couldn't finish the play. The C.A. Trueno Verde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cococho FBC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
