Celso Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Chorache in the 18th minute of the match. Modesto Intxixu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Bittor. Colón de Santa Fe's Celso Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Bizen in the 40th minute of play. If Joaquin Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Caradaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Modesto Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Bittor having to interfere. Barcelona V. Paranacito's Constantino Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Intxixu in the 58th minute of play. Constantino Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Caradaro in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Intxixu in the 61st minute of play forced Barcelona V. Celso Garin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 85th minute of the match Abel Hustaz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abel Hustaz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Colón de Santa Fe's Abel Hustaz got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Roman Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roman Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Laurentzi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
