Luciano Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dario Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Astor Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covunco's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Dino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Jokin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Jokin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Firmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in san ʟorenzo de ʙoedo's zone, Astor Dino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Jokin came out of the goal and Astor Dino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Garci's late challenge caught a Covunco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Garci helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Firmin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Covunco's Dario Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Chabier in the 54th minute of play. Luciano Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Eliazar having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, san ʟorenzo de ʙoedo's Ramiro Ospin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Eliazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of san ʟorenzo de ʙoedo booed when Covunco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
