A collision led to Capioví getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Everardo Rios hit a great ball. Ramiro Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abelardo Liher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Capioví got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Rios. Prospero Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Capioví's Amado Tauro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Prospero Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jeremias Jokin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capioví. Dalmacio Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Jokin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dalmacio Ruy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Jokin was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 51 played minutes Capioví got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Liberto. Jeremias Jokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Ruy in the 56th minute of the match. Prospero Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmacio Ruy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Ospin in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Liher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dalmacio Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th match minute, Capioví was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Rios to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Prospero Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Capioví failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
