The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Cangrejillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Afonso to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Astigar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Frechoso having to interfere. With a little luck, Cangrejillos's Raul Frechoso got control of the ball when Tiburcio Cuarto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raul Frechoso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Valendrada FC's Teofilo Cloyo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Tiburcio Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Frechoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeo Astigar went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th match minute, Cangrejillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Izel to maneuver through the defense. When Tiburcio Cuarto came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Valendrada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Cuarto couldn't finish the play. Cangrejillos's Raul Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cloyo in the 43rd minute of play. Teofilo Cloyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Frechoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Cloyo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cangrejillos's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Ihazintu came free, but Raul Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tiburcio Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute, Cangrejillos's Carlos Moise dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Abel Fernandez hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Astigar in the 62nd minute of play forced Cangrejillos's goalkeeper Raul Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiburcio Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th match minute, Cangrejillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes of play, Valendrada FC's Teofilo Cloyo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Frechoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Cuarto notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Cangrejillos's Raul Frechoso. Raul Frechoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Teofilo Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Teofilo Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Frechoso having to interfere. Cangrejillos's Raul Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cloyo in the 96th minute of play. Valendrada FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
