Alvaro Frasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Ignazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Luke in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moussy's Rodolfo Harri got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 14th minute, Adolfo Otsoko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pigüé's Alonzo Orlan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Lluciano, made in the 20th minute of the game. Herminio Nel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabe Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Frasco having to interfere. Moussy's Alvaro Frasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Moussy from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Frasco made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Lucio Ongile sent off a good shot on target. After 31 played minutes Moussy got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Bibiano. The audience was convinced that Herminio Nel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Frasco was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Herminio Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aquiles Chepe made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Donato Tancredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Harri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Saul Ignazio made a huge save. Nicolas Bibiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Ignazio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Chepe in the 58th minute of play forced Pigüé's goalkeeper Saul Ignazio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Nicolas Bibiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moussy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pigüé the free kick. After a rather tough play, Moussy's Nicolas Bibiano got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Moussy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Diego Lluciano hit a great ball. Herminio Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Herminio Nel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alvaro Frasco was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bernabe Benet struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Alvaro Frasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pigüé. If Bernabe Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Herminio Nel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Frasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 88 minutes into the game, Herminio Nel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 88th match minute, Pigüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Nel to maneuver through the defense. Saul Ignazio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Orlando Sayvion. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Bernabe Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pigüé's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Benet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Frasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pigüé fully deserved thier win.
