In the 9th minute Anselmo Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Laurentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Laurentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for NIGHTMARE F.C.. Urbano Piorno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Clemente Pero. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Jakue in the 17th minute of play forced Cotolengos F.C.'s goalkeeper Clemente Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Anselmo Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Pero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Jakue in the 23rd minute of the match. Anselmo Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Clemente Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Bartoleme's late challenge caught a NIGHTMARE F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Bartoleme helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cotolengos F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Severiano Bartoleme hit a great ball. Blas Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Aaron Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Iratzeder hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Cesar Orti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cotolengos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Orti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 played minutes NIGHTMARE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dario Urritz. After 36 minutes of play, Cotolengos F.C.'s Cesar Orti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Astrada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesar Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Astrada having to interfere. Blas Inko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aaron Astrada came out and tried to block the shot, but Blas Inko slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Inko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cesar Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NIGHTMARE F.C.'s Aaron Astrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Orti in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Cesar Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Blas Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in NIGHTMARE F.C.'s zone, Cesar Orti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Astrada came out of the goal and Cesar Orti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severiano Bartoleme was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th match minute, Cotolengos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Bartoleme to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Ricardo Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NIGHTMARE F.C.'s Ricardo Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Astrada having to interfere. Cotolengos F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anselmo Jakue 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Blas Inko struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Aaron Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cotolengos F.C.. Urbano Piorno kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Evelio Eladio struck a weak shot in the 90th minute.
