Pastor Haimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Saverio Garcia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alvaro Frasco was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half Moussy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Chepe to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Stayle's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Chepe came free, but Pastor Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stayle's Martin Lope got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Frasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Lope in the 62nd minute of the match. If Martin Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Lisandro Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moussy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Lisandro Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 79 minutes of play, Stayle's Saverio Garcia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stayle were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
