Cesar Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Rioja having to interfere. Abel Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Alvarez got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 37 played minutes Super Bondiola Reloaded got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Alvarez. After 38 minutes of play, Cotolengos F.C.'s Cesar Orti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Rioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Inko was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Blas Inko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute of the match Cleto Laurentzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Rioja skillfully saved the ball. After 63 played minutes Super Bondiola Reloaded got a freekick which was hit by Iker Sotil. If Blas Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Rioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Inko in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Cotolengos F.C. booed when Super Bondiola Reloaded was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Gaizko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Rioja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Orti in the 68th minute. When Cesar Orti came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Cotolengos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Orti couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute of the match, Cesar Orti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hermengildo Rioja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cesar Orti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotolengos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Orti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Rioja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Rioja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severiano Bartoleme in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Super Bondiola Reloaded's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Inko came free, but Hermengildo Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Blas Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cotolengos F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
