Rosendo Ubelteso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Inko, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Clemente Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Remicio in the 8th minute of play. Cecilio Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Remicio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Cecilio Gartzea struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Clemente Pero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Chicos Tops. In the 22ndth minute of the game Cecilio Gartzea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cotolengos F.C.'s Clemente Pero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteve Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Pero having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Cecilio Gartzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Chicos Tops's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Gartzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Esteve Remicio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Cotolengos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Remicio came free, but Clemente Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Clemente Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Blas Inko took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rosendo Ubelteso to make any attempt to save it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Gartzea was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Evelio Eladio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotolengos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Chicos Tops the free kick. Conrado Maurino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente Pero. Cotolengos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Esteve Remicio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Clemente Pero made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Cotolengos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Gartzea came free, but Clemente Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Cecilio Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Gartzea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Pero having to make a save. 88 minutes in the game, Cecilio Gartzea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Clemente Pero having to interfere. Severiano Bartoleme charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Bartoleme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cotolengos F.C.'s Clemente Pero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Gartzea in the 90th minute of play. Gogo Oro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Inko in the 98th minute of play forced FC Chicos Tops's goalkeeper Rosendo Ubelteso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Chicos Tops's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
