Mendiolaza
Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 4) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lino Gutxi kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Segundo Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Remigio Heriberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lion Force fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Piarres got free with Zeledon Aureo in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Gilesindo having to interfere. Remigio Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Fabricio Gilesindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lion Force. If Remigio Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zeledon Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Heriberto in the 28th minute of play. Lion Force's Remigio Heriberto got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabricio Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Orixe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mendiolaza's goalkeeper Fabricio Gilesindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Zeledon Aureo managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Mendiolaza's Cayetano Piarres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lino Gutxi might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Aureo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Gutxi ran back to his position shaking his head. The Mendiolaza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lion Force were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Orixe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Aureo having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Ramiro Etxekopar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Cayetano Piarres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendiolaza's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Piarres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Aureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Gutxi in the 58th minute of the match. Lino Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Orixe in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Gilesindo saved Mendiolaza from getting behind. The supporters of Mendiolaza booed when Lion Force was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes, Mendiolaza's Melchor Maria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Aureo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mendiolaza reached it. In the 69th minute of the match, Remigio Heriberto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabricio Gilesindo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lino Gutxi scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Aureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 played minutes Lion Force got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Efraim. After recieving a nice pass, Mendiolaza's Melchor Maria tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cayetano Piarres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zeledon Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lion Force's Domingos Rocio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Lino Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Lion Force's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Gutxi came free, but Zeledon Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Cayetano Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Gilesindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Heriberto in the 89th minute. Alberto Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fabricio Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Orixe in the 93rd minute of play forced Mendiolaza's goalkeeper Fabricio Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Gilesindo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lion Force's Segundo Orixe shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute.
