The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Saturnino Ariando was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ciriaco Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villa Urquiza FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Saturnino Ariando scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Enmanuel, making the score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Arnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Chan was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Nemesio Teyo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Correra AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Baldomero Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Calixto in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Hipolito Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Urquiza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Arnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomero Chan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Arnas's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Camilo Geleberto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Correra AFC's Baldomero Chan. Baldomero Chan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Ariando to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hipolito Arnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute Hipolito Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Correra AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Birjaio was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Urquiza FC's players had a chance to rest. Alberto Birjaio made a great header on Villa Urquiza FC's corner, it was just that Correra AFC's Baldomero Chan managed to reach the ball for a save. Hipolito Arnas's late challenge caught a Correra AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Abeijon charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Baldomero Chan made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Serafino Calixto sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Correra AFC's zone, Serafino Calixto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Chan came out of the goal and Serafino Calixto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Correra AFC's Baldomero Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Arnas in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Serafino Calixto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saturnino Ariando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Enmanuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Correra AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
