Iker Tabb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Pes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Eleuterio Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Chus in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Fili F.C.'s Abel Chus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Pes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Benjamin Geleberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fili F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Empedrado the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fili F.C.'s Benjamin Geleberto got a free kick in the 18th minute. Pastor Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Anibal Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Maldonado got free with Anibal Sandalio in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 38th minute of the match Benjamin Geleberto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benjamin Geleberto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fili F.C.'s Anibal Sandalio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Fili F.C. from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Nuñez to strike the kick off in the second half. Anibal Sandalio came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Empedrado's Pastor Maldonado. But to his dismay, Pastor Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Raul Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eleuterio Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Maldonado struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Anibal Sandalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empedrado. Raul Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eleuterio Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Tabb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Pastor Maldonado notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Fili F.C.'s Anibal Sandalio. Anibal Sandalio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Empedrado's Pastor Maldonado got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Joel Harkaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Anibal Sandalio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Nuñez got free with Eleuterio Pes in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Maldonado in the 96th minute of play forced Fili F.C.'s goalkeeper Anibal Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Empedrado had won after a very even match.
