Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ambrosio Naelio got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes, Santo Evangelio's Generoso Bibiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Montrel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santo Evangelio reached it. After a rather tough play, Mercedes AFC's Ernesto Gartzen got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Amador Normando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santo Evangelio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes AFC the free kick. A collision led to Santo Evangelio getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Amador Normando hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Santo Evangelio got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Telo. Emanuel Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Elias Loiola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Evangelio's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Loiola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Montrel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mercedes AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jonas Sansone hit a great ball. Dante Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Naelio in the 23rd minute of play. Cirilo Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Mino having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Mercedes AFC's Ambrosio Naelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Mino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Ernesto Gartzen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mercedes AFC and the Santo Evangelio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amador Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Emanuel Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Santo Evangelio got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Abajas.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Normando to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Elias Loiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mercedes AFC's Emanuel Montrel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee gave Santo Evangelio a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Generoso Bibiano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mercedes AFC's Emanuel Montrel. 2-0. If Robustiano Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Santo Evangelio's Amador Normando in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mercedes AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Cirilo Gutxi might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Mino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Gutxi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ambrosio Naelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Montrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Loiola in the 86th minute of play. Emanuel Montrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo Evangelio. After a rather tough play, Mercedes AFC's Aquiles Estevez got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Santo Evangelio were the better team. Santo Evangelio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
