Spectators: 5662 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 200, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvio Brun started the match with the kick off. In the 8th match minute, Mercedes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. Silvio Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Emanuel Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Regis having to interfere. If Cirilo Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Leonardo got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Iigo. If Cirilo Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Naelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Genaro Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Naelio to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Ereinotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Montrel having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Ereinotz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Montrel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Silvio Brun came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Leonardo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Brun couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Silvio Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Regis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aquiles Lorencio. After 77 played minutes Leonardo got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Umea. Cirilo Gutxi took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Regis. Genaro Regis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Genaro Regis made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Cirilo Gutxi sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mercedes AFC's Ambrosio Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambrosio Naelio struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Genaro Regis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercedes AFC. Mercedes AFC played a much better game than Leonardo and deserved their victory. The Leonardo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
