With an all-out effort, FILETERO F.C's Melchor Orlanda threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Freddy Anaya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 36th minute Freddy Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EL GLORIOSO MAXI's zone, Saverio Ruisko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Orlanda came out of the goal and Saverio Ruisko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of EL GLORIOSO MAXI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FILETERO F.C:s goal. The referee gave FILETERO F.C a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Orlando Orlo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of EL GLORIOSO MAXI's Melchor Orlanda. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Saverio Ruisko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Melchor Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4-0 became the score in the 66th minute when Saverio Ruisko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. EL GLORIOSO MAXI's Melchor Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Nevada in the 73rd minute of play. Patricio Jeraldo's late challenge caught a FILETERO F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Jeraldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes EL GLORIOSO MAXI got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Jeraldo. In the 77th minute Saverio Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Victoriano Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL GLORIOSO MAXI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Eufemio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Eufemio got free with Melchor Etxepare in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. EL GLORIOSO MAXI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Maria in the 86th minute. Melchor Etxepare made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Victoriano Eufemio sent off a good shot on target. EL GLORIOSO MAXI's Melchor Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Anaya in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FILETERO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Sedeni came free, but Melchor Etxepare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Dionisio Sedeni fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FILETERO F.C had won after a very even match.
