Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Lopes in the 6th minute of play forced Sinsacote's goalkeeper Valentin Tipi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, C.S.D. y C. El Progreso's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Agustin Niva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Agustin Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Chorche made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Agustin Niva sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Danel during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sinsacote's Amador Danel got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Clemente Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.D. y C. El Progreso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Bazkoare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute Arnoldo Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Tipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sinsacote's zone, Arnoldo Serafo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Tipi came out of the goal and Arnoldo Serafo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Serafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Tipi having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Agustin Niva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Bazkoare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentin Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnoldo Serafo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Valentin Tipi made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Bazkoare in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Tipi saved Sinsacote from getting behind. Agustin Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S.D. y C. El Progreso's goalkeeper Jacinto Chorche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Clemente Bazkoare recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valentin Tipi. Clemente Bazkoare showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Agustin Niva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Chorche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Teodosio Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S.D. y C. El Progreso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sinsacote the free kick. If Agustin Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
