In the 23rd minute, Victoriano Eufemio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Quirce scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Gaizkine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. EL GLORIOSO MAXI's Victoriano Eufemio got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Orlanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Veto in the 30th minute of the match. Jeremias Ariando hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes, Norumbega's Alfonso Henrico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melchor Orlanda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Gaudencio Cuartio took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Orlanda. Melchor Orlanda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Eufemio to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, EL GLORIOSO MAXI's Victoriano Eufemio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Gaizkine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melchor Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Rolando Santo sent off a good shot on target. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melchor Orlanda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96thth minute of the game Gaudencio Cuartio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL GLORIOSO MAXI's Melchor Orlanda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. EL GLORIOSO MAXI's Mateo Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Norumbega players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
