El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Paez came free, but Jacinto Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes C.S.D. y C. El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Serafo. If Clemente Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Serafo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Aaron Tibalt made a huge save. Arnoldo Serafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Aaron Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Bazkoare in the 87th minute of play. Clemente Bazkoare might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Tibalt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Bazkoare ran back to his position shaking his head. Agustin Karmel might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Chorche.
