Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evelio Rojelio got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th match minute, Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Gombal to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Palmira's Tomás Quintyn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Evelio Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Roque Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Palmira's Juan Barea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Fonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Argentina getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jacobo Gorri hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Iaki came free, but Julian Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Leon Viator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmira the free kick. After 21 played minutes Argentina got a freekick which was hit by Leon Viator. Juan Barea struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Julian Fonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmira. In the 33rd minute Iker Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Fonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Fonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Iaki in the 36th minute of the match. Julian Fonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Iaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Julian Fonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Fonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Iker Iaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Iaki made a kick off. If Juan Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Argentina's Leon Viator got a free kick in the 54th minute. Julian Fonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Barea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgard Lleir's late challenge caught a Argentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Lleir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Palmira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Lleir to maneuver through the defense. Juan Barea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Julian Fonso made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmira's Edgard Lleir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julian Fonso. That made the score 0-3 after 79 minutes of play. Iker Iaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julian Fonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Iker Iaki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmira's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Iaki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Fonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Juan Barea took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Julian Fonso to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Juan Barea sped through Argentina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Fonso. Roque Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Rojelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palmira played a much better game than Argentina and deserved their victory. The Argentina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
