In the 8th match minute, Soldiers of Jah Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Jax to maneuver through the defense. Soldiers of Jah Army's Celedonio Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Eufrasio in the 17th minute of play. Arnoldo Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Olando having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Turi was the one to do the kick off. Celedonio Olando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 67 minutes into the match, Saavedra's goalkeeper Wilfredo Bieito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Roldan. Luciano Dantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Olando having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Soldiers of Jah Army's goalkeeper Celedonio Olando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isaac Satordi's late challenge caught a Saavedra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Satordi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Soldiers of Jah Army getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Isaac Satordi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Soldiers of Jah Army's zone, Arnoldo Turi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Olando came out of the goal and Arnoldo Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Saavedra players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
