The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute, Jacobo Gorri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Haroldo Prejun. The goal made the score 2-0. Jacobo Gorri's late challenge caught a LA VIA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Julian Fonso managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when LA VIA FC's Benjamin Alvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julian Fonso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vinicio Ederono showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 96th minute Florentino Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argentina had won after a very even match.
