Ermegildo Gaufred ran back to his position shaking his head. Tonono's Eriberto Loiola got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Urbano Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Loiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. German Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Baldomero Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Oskarbi made a kick off. If German Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Tonono was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Joanes to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd match minute, Tonono was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Feliz to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, New Zanzibar's Clodoveo Nataniel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ildefonso Oskarbi struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Baldomero Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Zanzibar. German Mingo in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomero Orlan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of New Zanzibar booed when Tonono was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, New Zanzibar failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
