With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Oskarbi in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Marino saved FC Langfield from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in New Zanzibar's zone, Tomas Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Oso came out of the goal and Tomas Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Ildefonso Oskarbi came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the New Zanzibar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Oskarbi couldn't finish the play. Urbano Oso made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tomas Polentzi sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, FC Langfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Columbo to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Tomas Polentzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Urbano Oso. Marcos Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. New Zanzibar's German Mingo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Ildefonso Oskarbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ildefonso Oskarbi to make the kick off. If Ildefonso Oskarbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Oso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Oskarbi in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Langfield's goalkeeper Marcos Marino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Sauveur kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match.
