Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ildefonso Oskarbi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Urbano Oso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Endira in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Uriel Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Oskarbi in the 9th minute of play. Carmelo Txindoki hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, New Zanzibar's Clodoveo Nataniel tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sixto Sauveur charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Sauveur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes New Zanzibar got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Sauveur. Uriel Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, New Zanzibar's Bernabe Munio got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tobias Sol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangrejillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Sol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Oso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Ildefonso Oskarbi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aureliano Barrionuevo. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of New Zanzibar booed when Cangrejillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, German Mingo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Aureliano Barrionuevo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by New Zanzibar's Ildefonso Oskarbi. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Oskarbi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in New Zanzibar's zone, Felipe Alfonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Oso came out of the goal and Felipe Alfonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 played minutes Cangrejillos got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Txindoki. A hard shot 70 in the game by Felipe Alfonso from a close distance when the talented Urbano Oso managed to make a qualified save. New Zanzibar's players were relieved. Felipe Alfonso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Urbano Oso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, New Zanzibar's goalkeeper Urbano Oso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Alfonso. Urbano Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Endira in the 83rd minute of play. Cangrejillos's Aureliano Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Oskarbi in the 87th minute of play. Aureliano Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Mingo in the 91st minute of play. Aureliano Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cangrejillos's Uriel Endira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Urbano Oso. That made the score 2-2 after 98 minutes of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
