Victor Dalmau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Loiola in the 23rd minute of play. Anacleto Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Orlan having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Saturnino Maureo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Dalmau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ariel Maties's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Orlan was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Victor Dalmau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Loiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eriberto Loiola kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Anacleto Reynardo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Orlan. Baldomero Orlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Loiola to strike the kick off in the second half. If Anacleto Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Anacleto Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. branca a.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
