In the 92nd minute, one of El Firulete Ituzaingó:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Firulete Ituzaingó. Alejandro Bidari walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Americo Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Pasqual in the 98th minute of play. The El Firulete Ituzaingó fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Naco Viedma FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
