Anacleto Suarez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ermegildo Bertol. In the 76th minute, Benigno Pasqual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Everardo Xabier fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Firulete Ituzaingó's protests and gave Everardo Xabier a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes El Firulete Ituzaingó got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Xabier. 85 minutes into the match, El Firulete Ituzaingó's Hermengildo Ruisko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Aimar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hermengildo Ruisko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fausto Aimar made a huge save.
