Anacleto Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Chesus in the 45th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Favila during the 46th minute. Alonzo Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Suarez having to interfere. El Marroquí's Alonzo Viviano got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
