Spectators: 7053 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelino Cayo started the match with the kick off. If Jorge Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Serafin Pirmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Benicio Mancio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sapitos and the Club Deportivo Frías players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sapitos's Aquiles Handi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Cilio in the 10th minute of play. Serafin Pirmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Pirmin during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Frías's Serafin Pirmin got a free kick in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Sapitos's Juan Chinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damaso Peio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 32 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Frías's goalkeeper Damaso Peio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Chinto. Pastor Caetano's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Frías's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Caetano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Sapitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Caetano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sapitos booed when Club Deportivo Frías was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Chinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Damaso Peio made a huge save. Aquiles Handi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Sanduru in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Paul was the one to do the kick off. Aquiles Handi made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jorge Asteri sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the game, Sapitos's Juan Chinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damaso Peio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Juan Chinto sped through Club Deportivo Frías's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damaso Peio. Jorge Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvano Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sapitos's zone, Silvano Cordarrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Handi came out of the goal and Silvano Cordarrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Emilio Paul dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Handi, 4-1. Club Deportivo Frías were furious when Anselmo Sanduru was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Deportivo Frías! 79 minutes into the match, Pastor Caetano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damaso Peio. Club Deportivo Frías's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Caetano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 84th minute, Club Deportivo Frías's Silvano Cordarrell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aquiles Handi. Aquiles Handi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Silvano Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes Sapitos got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Marcones. If Serafino Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sapitos's Aquiles Handi got control of the ball when Jorge Asteri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Deportivo Frías's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sapitos had won, even though Club Deportivo Frías had held more of the ball.
