Spectators: 7064 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gervasio Hug took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiburcio Chesus in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alonzo Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fausto Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Chesus in the 8th minute of play forced Los Pibes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Tiburcio Chesus made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Pibes F.C.'s Fausto Aimar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Placido Bernard suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Indalecio during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fausto Aimar came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by El Marroquí's Alonzo Viviano. But to his dismay, Alonzo Viviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Los Pibes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Viviano came free, but Fausto Aimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Viviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Chesus in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Los Pibes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Vellito. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Viviano in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Aimar saved Los Pibes F.C. from getting behind. The Los Pibes F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Marroquí were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Alonzo Viviano made the kick off in the second half. Orlando Aballe struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Alexander Caniggia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pibes F.C.. The supporters of El Marroquí booed when Los Pibes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Vellito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Viviano let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 62nd minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. Alexander Caniggia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Aballe, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, El Marroquí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Caniggia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Hug in the 71st minute of the match. Alonzo Viviano took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Aimar. Fausto Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Alonzo Viviano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. El Marroquí's Alvaro Tallia got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonzo Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Ovando hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Fausto Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Los Pibes F.C.'s goalkeeper Fausto Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Viviano. El Marroquí's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
