Alfonso Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fabian Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Garci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Alejo Gudesteo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Evaristo Giraldo hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half Racing were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejo Gudesteo to make the kick off. Dante Garci scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Haitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Racing's Herminio Gerazan got a free kick in the 91st minute. Rosendo Haitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Garci in the 94th minute of the match. Deportivo Pescado Rabioso succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Racing had controlled the match.
