Sapitos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Iratze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Evaristo Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Handi having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Pescado Rabioso booed when Sapitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Cayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Pescado Rabioso played a much better game than Sapitos and deserved their victory. The Sapitos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
