Arsemirates FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Jakobe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Felipillo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Milio saved Quilmes A.C from getting behind. Erubiel Pere took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Milio. Zeledon Milio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bernardo Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Milio having to interfere. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Diego Felipillo sped through Quilmes A.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeledon Milio. In the 66thth minute of the game Diego Felipillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quilmes A.C's Zeledon Milio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sergio Transito got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zeledon Milio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Diego Felipillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Milio was relentless in the 87th minute of the game.
