In the 4th minute, Diego Felipillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Zeledon Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsemirates FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Palban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Magdaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Felipillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froilan Balesio made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Tomás Sancho sent off a good shot on target. When Arsemirates FC's Diego Felipillo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Topus's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute, Federico Perpinya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santos Magdaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Felipillo in the 24th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Tomás Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Balesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Federico Perpinya struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Santos Magdaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsemirates FC. Santos Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Topus's Santos Magdaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Perpinya in the 39th minute of play. Santos Magdaleno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Perpinya went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Felipillo to make the kick off. Diego Felipillo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Santos Magdaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsemirates FC. Diego Felipillo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Santos Magdaleno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Diego Felipillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Santos Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Felipillo got free with Santos Magdaleno in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Diego Felipillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Magdaleno was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Federico Perpinya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Perpinya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zeledon Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Los Topus booed when Arsemirates FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Sancho in the 85th minute of play forced Arsemirates FC's goalkeeper Froilan Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Perpinya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Magdaleno having to make a save. Diego Felipillo had several of the Los Topus's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Santos Magdaleno as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Diego Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arsemirates FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
