When Edgard Loren came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Quilmes A.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Loren couldn't finish the play. After having played for 23 minutes, Eustaquio Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winners FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Eustaquio Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winners FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Edur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Milio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Urko kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eustaquio Edur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Milio having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilmes A.C's goalkeeper Zeledon Milio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Joaquin Artaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Martin Ongile came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Quilmes A.C fans jumped to their feet. Tiburcio Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ongile, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Winners FC's Tiburcio Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ongile in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Ongile in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Heli saved Winners FC from getting behind. Joaquin Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Zeledon Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Quilmes A.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quilmes A.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
