Aquiles Piearres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo Carlomagno went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Valentin Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Candido Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teofilo Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Piearres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Moise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Punta Alta F.C. -off-'s Aquiles Piearres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Moise in the 28th minute of play. Aquiles Piearres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Carlomagno in the 32nd minute of play. Teofilo Bento took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Candido Boniel. Candido Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Abelardo Carlomagno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Laurentzi made a kick off. When Aurelio Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formosa Premium's protests and gave Aurelio Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Xacintu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Valentin Laurentzi came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Punta Alta F.C. -off- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Laurentzi couldn't finish the play. After 57 minutes of play, Punta Alta F.C. -off-'s Teofilo Bento made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Boniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulo Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Piearres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulo Moise showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 65 minute of play. Candido Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Paulo Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formosa Premium's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Moise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Piearres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aquiles Piearres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, Punta Alta F.C. -off- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Oskarbi to maneuver through the defense. If Teofilo Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Paulo Moise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Paulo Moise's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Piearres was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Punta Alta F.C. -off-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
