After a defensive mix-up in Pachu FC's zone, Nereo Lando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Dayam came out of the goal and Nereo Lando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cornelio Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Sotil in the 16th minute of the match. Nestor Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nereo Lando came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Club Atlético SantaPaula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Lando couldn't finish the play. When Club Atlético SantaPaula's Nestor Atarratze in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tomas Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pachu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Gorosti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pachu FC's goalkeeper Honorato Dayam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 56 minutes, Nereo Lando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético SantaPaula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Lando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pachu FC's Mario Javiar got a free kick in the 57th minute. Nestor Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Dayam having to interfere. Claudio Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cornelio Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Club Atlético SantaPaula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Breogan to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético SantaPaula's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejo Santikurtz was slow to take the kick. During this time Pachu FC's players had a chance to rest. Honorato Dayam was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Nereo Lando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nereo Lando really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. When Gilberto Endira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 77th minute, Gilberto Endira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Breogan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes, Pachu FC's Alejo Santikurtz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cornelio Abaurre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pachu FC reached it. 87 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Gasteiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético SantaPaula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pachu FC the free kick. Osvaldo Gasteiz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Club Atlético SantaPaula's Nestor Atarratze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Honorato Dayam. Honorato Dayam yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Club Atlético SantaPaula played a much better game than Pachu FC and deserved their victory. The Pachu FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
