Independiente's Hector Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Shantala in the 40th minute of play. Hector Odol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Elazar in the 41st minute of the match. El talar fucbool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Petri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Hector Odol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Elazar in the 77th minute. Independiente's Aquilino Oso got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Iker Ugutz got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes, El talar fucbool's Pastor Montes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hector Odol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El talar fucbool reached it. The supporters of El talar fucbool booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Petri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Elazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Hector Odol made a huge save. El talar fucbool's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
