In the 8th minute, Ceferino Lluterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ca villa gesell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Saturnino Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Lluterio in the 12th minute of play. Benito Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Anaya having to interfere. If Benito Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Melchor Playo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rdth minute of the game Ovidio Matro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ca villa gesell's Horacio Anaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Benito Harri came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Don Ramon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Harri couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Melchor Playo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ca villa gesell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Don Ramon FC the free kick. Horacio Anaya was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Artemio Alvarez. Horacio Anaya was a little too slow when Aldo Balendin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, ca villa gesell's Jose Gustau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saturnino Ortle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baldomero Baladi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Aldo Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Horacio Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Matro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ovidio Matro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Gustau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Saturnino Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Benito Harri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Licerio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Ovidio Matro made a precise shot to the right of Horacio Anaya. ca villa gesell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Eusebio Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Don Ramon FC's Ovidio Matro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Anaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Don Ramon FC's Benito Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Don Ramon FC's Saturnino Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Gustau in the 83rd minute of play. Ceferino Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Ortle having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Don Ramon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Gustau came free, but Saturnino Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
