Pachu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Birila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Sotil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Dayam having to interfere. Patricio Roldanillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Pachu FC's Benigno Patxi pulled a muscle in his back after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Asur during the 71st minute.
