In the 18th minute, Nereo Lando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nereo Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Campos Luis came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético SantaPaula's Nestor Atarratze. But to his dismay, Nestor Atarratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Talip Rical scored 4-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Abaurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute Rafael Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Loventué fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Loventué's Talip Rical looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cornelio Abaurre came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Loventué's Rafael Mendiko. But to his dismay, Rafael Mendiko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético SantaPaula's zone, Rafael Mendiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Abaurre came out of the goal and Rafael Mendiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Gasteiz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético SantaPaula's goalkeeper Cornelio Abaurre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Atarratze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Campos Luis made a huge save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Loventué fully deserved thier win.
