Python made a substitution. Froilan Larpe replaced Reynaldo Abella. The supporters of Python booed when FABRIBOCA JRS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nunez Maurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. FABRIBOCA JRS's Francisco Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ireno in the 19th minute of play. Hermengildo Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermengildo Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froilan Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Mitxaut having to interfere. Anselmo Txerran might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Mitxaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Txerran ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ireno in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of FABRIBOCA JRS booed when Python was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Daniel Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FABRIBOCA JRS's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Iyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albano Fidencio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FABRIBOCA JRS's goalkeeper Francisco Mitxaut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Larpe. 59 minutes into the game, Mateo Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Paulo Godoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Mitxaut was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Hermengildo Ireno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermengildo Ireno really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Hermengildo Ireno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Mitxaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Hermengildo Ireno scored 1-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Mitxaut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute Hermengildo Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Godoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Iyan's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FABRIBOCA JRS's zone, Hermengildo Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Mitxaut came out of the goal and Hermengildo Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albano Fidencio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Mitxaut saved FABRIBOCA JRS from getting behind. After having played for 91 minutes, Froilan Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Python's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th match minute, FABRIBOCA JRS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Manni to maneuver through the defense. Python's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
