Tacana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Jurgi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Cordarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Perrando in the 71st minute of play. Natalio Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Jobo in the 83rd minute of play forced Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's goalkeeper Rogelio Cordarius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Paulino Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Cordarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
