Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saul Roderigo started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Roderigo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Torres saved ASCO FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jose Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASCO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Oalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Egoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When ASCO FC's Freddy Raymon in 7 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Atilano Egoitz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Hipopó's Felix Ekaitz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Hipopó's Atilano Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Raymon in the 9th minute of play. Atilano Egoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Raymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Fulgencio Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20thth minute of the game Freddy Raymon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hipopó's Atilano Egoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Felix Ekaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hipopó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASCO FC the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, ASCO FC's Pedro Guillelmo tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Atilano Egoitz managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when ASCO FC's Jose Oalo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Pedro Guillelmo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASCO FC's protests and gave Pedro Guillelmo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of ASCO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hipopó:s goal. The referee gave Hipopó a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cayetano Rivero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ASCO FC's Baltasar Torres. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in ASCO FC's zone, Bonifacio Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Torres came out of the goal and Bonifacio Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Atilano Egoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Oalo got free with Atilano Egoitz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilano Egoitz made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jose Oalo sent off a good shot on target. The ASCO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hipopó were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Raymon to strike the kick off in the second half.
