An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Ekaitz in the 70th minute of play forced Especial de Jamon's goalkeeper Narciso Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Especial de Jamon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Berbiz should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Especial de Jamon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Hipopó. Cayetano Rivero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Narciso Berbiz. 4-1. Hipopó's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
