A collision led to Northampton Football Club getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Genaro Virila hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Simon Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gimnsia de Jujuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Iban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Deunoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Anier Lano made a huge save. Anier Lano came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnsia de Jujuy's Hipolito Deunoro. But to his dismay, Hipolito Deunoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Gimnsia de Jujuy getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Simon Etor hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Roberto Eutropio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Gimnsia de Jujuy's Anier Lano threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Iban, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Deunoro got free with Anier Lano in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Gimnsia de Jujuy's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Eutropio came free, but Leandro Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Theodore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Justo Eskuin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northampton Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gimnsia de Jujuy the free kick. After a rather tough play, Northampton Football Club's Justo Eskuin got a free kick in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Northampton Football Club's Anier Lano got control of the ball when Hipolito Deunoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gimnsia de Jujuy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
